I’m Franck Matellini, a Geneva-based video producer, filmmaker and editor with over 15 years of international experience creating films and visual content for brands, companies and organisations.

I’m passionate about storytelling and the power of images to capture people, places, ideas and experiences. I enjoy finding the right angle for a story, developing creative concepts and bringing them to life through film.

Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of formats and industries, producing brand content, commercials, corporate films, documentaries, interviews and event productions.

 

My clients have included UNESCO, British Airways, BCG, Four Seasons, Desigual, Airbnb, Booking.com, Tastemade, Air Caraïbes and The Travel Corporation, among others.

 

I work across the entire production process, from initial research and creative development to filming, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, editing, colour grading and final delivery.

Equally comfortable behind the camera or in the edit suite, I enjoy working independently as well as collaborating with creative teams and production partners.

 

SELECTED WORK & RECOGNITION

OpenSkies – Paris vs. NYC (2014)

Independently conceived, filmed and edited, this two-minute advertising film explores the contrasts between Paris and New York through an original split-screen concept.

The project received international recognition, including a Vimeo Staff Pick, the Grand Jury Prize at the Finisterra Arrábida Film Art & Tourism Festival and Adweek’s Ad of the Day.

 

London Day vs. Night (2016)

A personal creative project exploring the contrasting atmospheres of London by day and by night. The film received international media coverage, including features in PetaPixel, Time Out London and the Daily Mail.

 

BASED IN GENEVA. WORKING INTERNATIONALLY.

Originally from France, my professional journey has taken me from Paris to London and beyond, with projects and experiences across Europe, North America and further afield.

Today, I’m based in the Geneva area, Switzerland, and available for projects locally and internationally.

Whether it’s a brand film, a commercial, a documentary, a corporate production or an event, I enjoy working with people who have a story to tell and finding the right way to bring it to the screen.
